Boomer Singles
The Boomer Singles are single adults born between 1946 and 1964 (or thereabouts) who are seeking friendship and support from others who understand their position at this stage in their life and are seeking to follow Christ.
Boomer Singles is under the Life Group Ministry at Central and through life groups, friendship events and planned activities helps those who come to enter into a growing relationship to the Lord.
New twice-a-month format for Friendship Gatherings including Video Series by Craig Groeschel: "Weird-Because Normal Isn't Working"
We are excited about meeting twice a month for the next 2 months and will meet on these dates: April 6, April 20, May 4, May 18—Higher Grounds Cafe. Note the new time as 6:30 p.m. following the 4:25 p.m. Saturday afternoon service at the Mesa campus.
Each time we meet, we will watch a video which is about 15 minutes and table leaders will lead individuals through some questions for discussion based on the video. This will take 45 minutes to an hour. There will still be time for icebreaker, eating, and introduction to other activities and life groups.

Saturday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m.—PLEASE NOTE THIS WEEK ONLY NEW TIME AND MEETING PLACE: Friendship Gathering, New Life Center Chapel, 933 N. Lindsay Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213. After the DVD/Discussion, which starts promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel, we will move outside to the grassy amphitheater area on the south side of the gym for a Barbeque and movie, "The Ultimate Gift." There will be a $7 donation for this event-please RSVP to Doug right now at bookdoug@gmail.com if you plan to attend so he can plan for food.
Saturday, June 1 and June 15 at 6:30 p.m.—Discussion Series, Mesa Campus Higher Grounds Cafe, 933 N Lindsay Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213. Material to be determined.
Friday-Sunday, June 21-23—Camping Weekend North of Payson, details to follow.
Saturday, June 29th—Kayaking on the Salt River, date to be confirmed. Cost is $41 per person, please let Chris Couture know if you are interested.
July Activities
Hiking in the Chiricahuas, possibly overnighter in Bisbee or surrounding area.—Date TBD
